IF YOU STILL CAN’T FIGURE OUT WHO TO VOTE FOR THEN YOU AIN’T CHRISTIAN. | Mario Murillo Ministries

She began by saying, “My eight-year-old is transgender.” Hearing any parent say that should be enough to turn our stomachs. Pandering to any eight-year-old’s suggestion of changing genders is the worst child abuse I can imagine. But it got much, much worse. You see, that was the opening part of a question a woman directed…

The Sheep And The Goats

The blog I will post below touched my heart deeply. I don’t drive, and as you know I’m legally blind, so forth doesn’t personally impact me as much as it does you. So, to you who drive and get the opportunity to give to the homeless maybe even every day, I encourage you to take what I’m about to say and the article I’ll post at the end deeply into your spirit.

Introduction

The blog discusses God’s heart for the homeless. It touched me deeply because it made me realize that all these “legalistic teachers,” are right. This article is from The Mystical Appologetic, and it in a very much more graceful way reminds me of Keith Green’s Sheep and Goats song that he sang when he was alive. Don’t get me wrong. Like I hinted at in the way I worded the sentence above, the blog is by no means hard teaching–at least, not like Keith Green presented it. I call it, “Hard teaching in a soft tone.” That’s the Spirit for you. Here’s the song I’m referring to.

The Blog and Final Thoughts

This is the first time I have had a blog such as this remind me of a hard finger-nail-file type sermon or song. Maybe their roughness isn’t the way Jesus would act toward us in judgment day, but perhaps, the thought they are presenting to us isn’t all that wrong. Let’s prayerfully consider not only the blog which I will present to you below, but also the song which I presented above from Keith Green. God bless!

Replies To Pro-Choice Arguments e-course

The following link is a sign-up sheet for a course that I would like to invite you to take with me. They will be helping us to know how to respond to pro-choice arguments like, “Well, we don’t know when life begins,” or “It’s a woman’s right to choose,” or, “Well, abortion is necessary for cases such as rape or incest,” and more arguments which the pro-abortion advocate and/or abortion minded person will say to you. I encourage you to take notes if you take this course so that you will know where to start in studying the Scriptures on these topics as well. God bless and here’s the link!

Testimony Tuesday: How Cunning Is Satan?

Welcome to Testimony Tuesday. I’d like to spend time today giving my testimony of how I came to understand how cunning Satan really is. I will also post a video where I talk about this very topic as well. Please come at this ready to learn.

Introduction

That doesn’t surprise us, for even Satan transforms himself to appear as an angel of light! (2 Corinthians 11:14)

I want to tell you of an experience today that brought this verse home to me. I was commanded by the Lord to read the book of Ezekiel. I have stated before on this blog that there was a time when I was reading nothing but the old-time preachers such as Theodore Austin-Sparks, Charles Spurgeon, John Calvin, John Owen, Martin Luther, etc. It was during this time that one day, I awoke to the unction from the Spirit that I must read Ezekiel. I actually had a dream during this time that I had eatten a piece of paper that had a message on it from the Lord. This dream was pertaining to the Women’s Bible study which I was teaching at at that time–only 8 women.

The Sneaky Dream

One day, I had a dream that Kat Kerr was teaching. I couldn’t make out what she was saying. However, when I woke up from the dream, I felt like the Lord was telling me to listen to videos of Kat Kerr. At least 1 video is an eight-hour compilation. Another one is 3 hours of her teaching. On top of that, there are a plethora of other videos. It would take me years of nothing but listening to her if I were ever going to listen to all of the videos. And then it happened.

The Lord’s Rebuke

My excuse for going on this endeavor was that perhaps, the Lord had changed His mind. I should have known. More experienced people than I have taught that the Lord never tells you to do something else if He cannot trust you to do the last thing He told you to do. Even Kat Kerr herself says this. Well, the following Prophetic Word that I will post below is exactly what brought me to my knees!

THE GREATEST TIME OF PREPARATION AND PURIFICATION IS UPON THE CHURCH RIGHT NOW!!!

When I read this word, that was the first time I had ever repented when reading one of Lana Vawser’s words. It was simply because the Lord was already speaking with me about disobedience and so through His prophet, He confirmed what He had already been speaking to me. It just hit home more when I read this Word. Also, if you are looking for a prophetic voice to listen to, she’s one of them I highly recommend. I have now done an about-face and I have read in the Expositor’s Bible the entirety of Ezekiel and intend to study it to the full. I’m still not as obedient as I should be, I confess.

Conclusion of Testimony

In conclusion to this testimony, I would like to post the video that I uploaded the day that this happened. Please feel free to post your feedback.

Salvation

If there is anyone who either would like to rededicate their lives to the Lord or have never received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? I want to give you a resource to help. After you take a look at this, you need to plug into a local Church community that teaches sound doctrine. God bless!

An Open Letter To Dr. Anthony Levatino

Dear Dr. Anthony Levatino,

I couldn’t find any contact information that I could personally email you, so I thought I’d reach out to you via open letter. Thank you so much for courageously discussing your testimony with us. I was in the process of writing an open letter to fellow pro-lifers, mainly any who would have hatred toward abortionists and those working in the Abortion Industry, and I listened to your interview with Focus On The Family.

I cannot understand what you may at times go through pertaining to feeling that when you die, not only will Heather be there, but so will the over 12,000 other children you aborted. However, I know someone who you may be able to relate to. Of course, you may have read his story already, but I wanted to give you something to study prayerfully. Of course, I’m talking about the Apostle Paul in the Bible. I couldn’t put my finger on it until today, but I feel like in a new way (usually I looked at people who persecuted the Church like Paul), you are like a modern-day Apostle Paul of our generation. He persecuted the Church, you aborted babies, which is what you both have in common (not meant in a condescending way). What made me think of this was when you said, “Nothing you could ever do would compare to what I’ve done.” I say this because Paul said, “I can testify that the Word is true and deserves to be received by all, for Jesus Christ came into the world to bring sinners back to life–even me, the worst sinner of all (1 Timothy 2:15, TPT)!

My family and I are praying a double portion anointing on you. I don’t know how long you’ve been doing this, but I feel like you’ve just gotten started. I don’t say this for flattery, but because I feel like the Lord has put this in my heart. I love you and I look forward to seeing your ministry thrive. However, I have a warning: I understand that you have already experienced it, but with Paul’s ministry came persecution. If you want, you can also follow my blog which I will be posting this on. And, if you ever need any prayer, you can just email me at patelincogswell@gmail.com (note for those other than Dr. Anthony Levatino that the email address posted above is only for him). God bless!

I forgot to show you the Open Letter to the pro-life movement I mentioned above.

The Truth About Abortion And Human Life, Part 8: An Open Letter To The Pro-Life Movement

Dear Pro-lifers,

I myself am a pro-lifer, but I want to address something; for I don’t know how often someone does this. I want to address the meaning of being pro-life.

I know that there are a few bad apples in every bunch. I myself would not support the killing of an abortionist just because I want abortion to end. However, I must address this. This cannot go unaddressed.

George Tiller, 67, Assasinated In Church While Serving As Usher

You read that right! An abortionist was serving as an usher. The service was just beginning. I cannot remember the town he was in but the shooter in question had just returned to town. George was gunned down. I can understand “persecution,” in the form of new laws outlawing abortion or peaceful protests outside the building or whatever we do. But violence? That shooter by no means had the hand of God by his side. He condemns abortion on one hand and then turns around and shoots who he thinks is his enemy on the other. Beloved, we cannot have two standards. If you have any hate in your heart toward abortionists, the Lord commands that today you repent and start praying for them. The Lord condemns abortion, but He also condemns hate. Jesus stated that if I hate my brother in my heart, I have already murdered him (Matthew 5).

Is This An Isolated Incident?

The answer to the heading’s question is an absolute NO? I will not go into the details here; for I will post the article below. You may scream at me for posting an article from the New York Times, but I personally believe that every outlet has some truth and some falsehood in reporting the news, except the Christian organizations try to be more truthful in their reporting. So without further adue, here it is.

Notice that there was a former minister. You can’t say that it is “just the nonbeliever.” Even if it was. I’m addressing the movement as a whole. We cannot abho abortion and then kill the abortionist because both are wrong. It is imperative that we not have two standards. God doesn’t. You may scream, “What about the Old Testament?” Well, that is not for us individually. It is for the judiciary system of a country. The death penalty is not for a personal action. Folks, here me: You could have been in New York at one of these clinics and shot Anthony Levatino when he was one of these abortionists. I don’t know of anyone going into an obstitrician Gynacologist’s office upon hear that they are also an them, but it could happen. You could have shot Abby Johnson back when she was the director of Planned Parenthood. I am not indicting the movement. I know that many of you, like me, don’t condone any violence whatsoever. However, I am speaking to those that have so much hate in their heart against these people, yet may admire the tenacity of Anthony Levatino and Abby Johnson for sharing their testimonies. We like to say, “Those babies that are being aborted could be the next Moses. Or the next Billy Grahm. Yet their mission was aborted before it began!” I understand the reasoning behind the killing of these abortionists because I myself don’t condone their behavior. However, you are like Moses was before when he fled Egypt after killing the Egyptian that was enslaving his brethren (look up Exodus 2). Maybe it isn’t that you have hate. Maybe you have a desire from the Lord to save His babies, but like Moses, your actions aren’t what the Lord would want. Your heart is aligned with God’s heart, but you don’t know how to act on it properly.

What Does It Mean To Be Pro-Life?

A lot of people when discussing this topic mention activism and things surrounding the anti-abortion argument. However, here is what I believe being pro-life means:

  • I am pro-life when I support a baby’s right to life–when I condemn abortion through activism and other means.
  • I am pro-life when I hear of murders being committed at the hands of other pro-lifers, taking the life of an abortionist who God could reach down and save in the future and who could become a pro-life activist like us and condemn the violence.

Where Does The Pro-life argument begin?

I believe that it begins in the mind. If you look at a woman seeking abortion like she’s evil for doing so, you will not have compassion for her or at least you won’t help her case–making her feel like she should not go through with the proceedure–if you talk to her like the following man does this woman:

Love may have been his motivation. Compassion may have been running through his veins. However, he does not show it. BY NO MEANS does he show it. I have some questions for you to answer before the Lord. This is mainly for the Believer.

  • Which group or person won the adulteress over found in John: the Pharisees, or Jesus? Selah!
  • What won Mary Magdalene over? The other Jews and the Pharisees? Or was it Jesus?
  • Ask yourself the same question while you read the Gospels. Which one won the sinners over? Jesus? The Pharisees?

I now want to show everyone, believer and nonbeliever alike, two more videos:

Final Thoughts

Everything I’ve stated in this blog must be considered by the pro-life movement. We need more compassion. Hear the words of a former Abortionist which I showed you before. He says that yelling, “Murderer,” won’t work. Abby Johnson says the same thing. That video you saw of the man telling the woman that she knows she’s guilty of sin got him no where in his ministry. Either you want to be effective or you don’t.

Love in Christ and God bless,

Patelin

The Truth About Abortion And Human Life, Part 7: What does it mean to support abortion? And A Discussion About Abortion Proceedures And More

Hello everyone! Today, Dr. Anthony Levatino will be speaking with us about his experience with abortion, will answer some questions you may have (he answers those of the audience), will explain abortion support, will tell of the most effective way to discuss abortion support and the pro-life (and maybe even pro-choice) arguments with people and ways to be effective in the pro-life movement, will show some videos about the deceptiveness of Planned Parenthood, and more. Please listen very carefully to his speech. This has been very enlightening to me and has opened my eyes even more to the reasons I’m pro-life. Rather you be pro-life or pro-choice, prayerfully research this information for your own understanding. God bless!

Warning Against Others, Part 19: Who Or What Did Our Lord Warn Against? Part 17

Hello everyone and today, I’d like to continue in the series called Warning Against Others. Today, we will look at Chapter 7 of both John and Mark. God bless!

“During the feast, the Jewish leaders kept looking for Jesus and asking around, “Where is he? Have you seen him?” A controversy was brewing among the people, with so many differing opinions about Jesus. Some were saying, “He’s a good man!” While others weren’t convinced and insisted, saying, “He’s just a demagogue.” Yet no one was bold enough to speak out publicly on Jesus’ behalf for fear of the Jewish leaders. Not until the feast was half over did Jesus finally appear in the temple courts and begin to teach. The Jewish leaders were astonished by what he taught and said, “How did this man acquire such knowledge? He wasn’t trained in our schools—who taught him?” So Jesus responded, “I don’t teach my own ideas, but the truth revealed to me by the One who sent me. If you want to test my teachings and discover where I received them, first be passionate to do God’s will, and then you will be able to discern if my teachings are from the heart of God or from my own opinions. Charlatans praise themselves and seek honor from men, but my Father sent me to speak truth on his behalf. And I have no false motive, because I seek only the glory of God. Moses has given you the law, but not one of you is faithful to keep it. So if you are all law-breakers, why then would you seek to kill me?” Then some in the crowd shouted out, “You must be out of your mind! Who’s trying to kill you?” Jesus replied, “I only had to do one miracle, and all of you marvel! Yet isn’t it true that Moses and your forefathers ordered you to circumcise your sons even if the eighth day fell on a Sabbath? So if you cut away part of a man on the Sabbath and that doesn’t break the Jewish law, why then would you be indignant with me for making a man completely healed on the Sabbath? Stop judging based on the superficial. First you must embrace the standards of mercy and truth.” Then some of the residents of Jerusalem spoke up and said, “Isn’t this the one they’re trying to kill? So why is he here speaking publicly and not one of the Jewish leaders is doing anything about it? Are they starting to think that he’s the Anointed One? But how could he be, since we know this man is from Galilee, but no one will know where the true Messiah comes from, he’ll just appear out of nowhere.” Knowing all of this, Jesus one day preached boldly in the temple courts, “So, you think you know me and where I come from? But you don’t know the One who sent me—the Father who is always faithful. I have not come simply on my own initiative. The Father has sent me here, and I know all about him, for I have come from his presence.” His words caused many to want to arrest him, but no man was able to lay a hand on him, for it wasn’t yet his appointed time. And there were many people who thought he might be the Messiah. They said, “After all, when the Anointed One appears, could he possibly do more signs and wonders than this man has done?” So when the Pharisees heard these rumors circulating about Jesus, they went with the leading priests and the temple guards to arrest him. Then Jesus said, “My days to be with you are numbered. Then I will return to the One who sent me. And you will search for me and not be able to find me. For where I am, you cannot come.” When the Jewish leaders heard this, they discussed among themselves, “Where could he possibly go that we won’t be able to find him? Is he going to minister in a different land where our people live scattered among the nations? Is he going to teach those who are not Jews? What did he really mean by his statement, ‘You will search for me and won’t be able to find me. And where I am you can’t come’?””

John 7:11-36 TPT

https://www.bible.com/1849/jhn.7.11-36.tpt

“So when the temple guards returned to the Pharisees and the leading priests without Jesus, they were questioned, “Where is he? Why didn’t you bring that man back with you?” They answered, “You don’t understand—he speaks amazing things like no one else has ever spoken!” The religious leaders mocked, “Oh, so now you also have been led astray by him? Do you see even one of us, your leaders, following him? This ignorant rabble swarms around him because none of them know anything about the Law! They’re all cursed!” Just then, Nicodemus, who had secretly spent time with Jesus, spoke up, for he was a respected voice among them. He cautioned them, saying, “Does our law decide a man’s guilt before we first hear him and allow him to defend himself?” They argued, “Oh, so now you’re an advocate for this Galilean! Search the Scriptures, Nicodemus, and you’ll see that there’s no mention of a prophet coming out of Galilee!” So with that their debate ended, and they each went their own way.”

John 7:45-53 TPT

https://www.bible.com/1849/jhn.7.45-53.tpt

“One day, those known as the Pharisees and certain religious scholars came from Jerusalem and gathered around Jesus. They were shocked to find that some of Jesus’ disciples ate bread without first observing the prescribed Jewish ritual of hand washing before eating their meal. (For the Pharisees, like all other Jews, will not eat without first performing a ritual of pouring water over their cupped hands to keep the tradition of the elders. Similarly, when returning from the marketplace, they ceremonially wash themselves before eating. They also observed many other traditions, such as ceremonially washing cups, pitchers, and kettles.) So the Pharisees and religious scholars asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the age-old traditions passed down by our elders? They should first ceremonially wash their hands before eating.” Jesus replied, “You are frauds and hypocrites! How accurately did Isaiah prophesy about you phonies when he said: ‘These people honor me with their words while their hearts run far away from me! Their worship is nothing more than a charade! For they continue to insist that their man-made traditions are equal to the instructions of God.’ “You abandon God’s commandments just to keep men’s rituals, such as ceremonially washing utensils, cups, and other things.” Then he added, “How skillful you’ve become in rejecting God’s law in order to maintain your man-made set of rules. For example, Moses taught us: ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘Whoever insults or mistreats his father or mother must be put to death.’ “But your made-up rules allow a person to say to his parents, ‘I’ve decided to take the support you were counting on from me and make it my holy offering to God, and that will be your blessing instead.’ How convenient! The rules you teach exempt him from providing for his aged parents. Do you really think God will honor your traditions passed down to others, making up these rules that nullify God’s Word? And you’re doing many other things like that.””
