A Warning Concerning The Supernatural

Today I made a video about this topic and want to give you an extended version. The video can be found here.

I first want to begin by giving you a challenge: For thirty days, listen to people like:

My Testimony

I talk in The Spirit of Fear about the fascination that I had with scary stories. However, I had a fascination with everything—I was also in. I liked Pooh Bear at one time, Stitch from Lilo and Stitch, and the Greek gods represented in Homer’s Odysey. I forgot to mention, but the reason why I give you this challenge is because of your kids and because Mark 16:15-19 says that every believer’s sign is the casting out of demons. Also, as I look back and watch the above video, I’m reminded of what I said on that video: Before I was fascinated with the stories of the Greek gods particularly Homer’s Oddysey, I was fascinated with Sleeping Beauty and even wrote a book.

I want you to look around at your choices on TV: You see many things that promote the normality of magick, witchcraft, vampirism, and the occult. I also in my Senior year went to prom and one of my teachers pretended to be a fortune teller. You may say, “Well at least she didn’t do the real thing,” but I don’t care. This is the devil’s territory. The Scripture that comes to mind is this:

So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always (Philippians 4:8, TPT). Also:

Beloved friends, what should be our proper response to God’s marvelous mercies? I encourage you to surrender yourselves to God to be his sacred, living sacrifices. And live in holiness, experiencing all that delights his heart. For this becomes your genuine expression of worship. Stop immitating the ideals and oppinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes (Romans 12:1-2, TPT).

If I went through everything that I did in this video, I’d be long-winded in this blog. So, I again am going to link you to the video for the rest of the warning. Here again is the link and God bless!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
