Prayerful Thursday: Joel Osteen

Hello everyone! Last week, we discussed Black Lives Matter and their heart as to why they want to defund the Polic. I gave the backstory as to what sparked the discussion. Now, I want to pray this week for the man of the controversy, namely, Pastor Joel Osteen of Lakewood Church. Before I awoke on August 17, I had 2 dreams about him. The second was a lot more vague, so I wouldn’t be able to tell you what happened. The first dream was where we were at this conference. I couldn’t tell you exactly the sermon that Joel was preaching, but it was not like a motivational speech. I literally cried and was touched greatly by the Spirit (I’m not saying that this doesn’t happen to people when watching his sermon, but that it was different). I feel like Jesus is calling him up higher. He sees the potential in not just Lakewood Church as a whole, Joel’s personal ministry. Today, and throughout this week, take time to pray for him. Ask the Holy Spirit first for prayer strategies as to how to pray for his ministry. Then, let’s bombard Heaven with what the Spirit gives us. God bless!

Love in Christ,

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
