Why Should I Listen Only To Faith Based News?

I thought that it would be better to present this in the form of a blog as opposed to a podcast. On a podcast I can only mention in passing the different Christian news organizations which you can listen to but in a blog I can, as you know by reading these blogs, link to the different news organizations you can watch.

In a podcast concerning 8 Roadblocks to awakening, I give an assignment to watch faithbased news for 30 days and see what happens and if your faith is built up or the same. In this blog, I will work to help you understand more the reasons why I am so hard concerning this.

The first reason is that you think you have faith, but you act more like the world in fear of the “what ifs” than in faith like Christ wants you to have. The more you listen to something, the more it contaminates your spirit whether you like it or not. I have heard from my Grandpa (not throwing anyone under the bus) that just because I’ve experienced something doesn’t mean that it is the same for everyone. However, how many hours are you bingewatching the mainstream secular news (irrespective of if they’re lying or not) and letting the spirit of fear oppress you? In a past blog concerning trusting the Lord, I outline the effects of anxiety, depression, and yes, bingewatching TV. You may say, “I don’t fear a thing! What are you talking about?” I say, “Look more carefully at your actions. They will tell you if you have fear or faith in your God! You may say that you know that only God can take you out of this world, and that’s great, but what actions are you taking? They will determine the fearlessness or fearfulness you have.”

The next reason is that they don’t have news only, but they have teachings. These teachings will uplift your faith in our God. Charisma News which can be found here, CBN News at this link, The Christian Post at this link, HisChannel at this link, TrueNews at this link, Crosswalk at this link, Faithwire at this link, EWTN (we need to get out of our circles and comfort zones. If nothing else, just watch the news) at this link, Our Warpath at this link, Faith Strong Today at this link, Politely Rude With Abby Johnson found here, Live Action exclusively for news on the fight against abortion (no faith-based teachings for other things), Focus On The Family found here, The Victory Channel fth here but if you don’t like Kenneth Copeland for any reason they have a different perspective so please at least watch the news broadcasts and morning prayer broadcasts and not the teachings if you so choose, The Stream at this link, The ElijahList at this link, Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural! found here, Intercessors For America found here, LifeSite News found here, His Kingdom Prophecy here, The Road blog here, and so much more. Some of these sites aren’t exactly what you’d call newspapers, but they are sources which in one way or the other bring the news and teachings to you from a faith-based perspective. His Kingdom Prophecy and The Road blog bring the news before it happens in the form of prophecy. Now, you have absolutely no excuse why you are still tuning into Satan’s Frequency. God’s blessing of peace be upon you all, amen!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
