Merry Christmas

I want to write this blog today in wishing you a very merry Christmas. I hope you’ve enjoyed this day so far. I now want to do two things: I want to give you a Christmas present of sorts by showing you Christmas with The Chosen: The Messengers from TBN. There is one particular story where the narrator talks of the Pharisees in Christ’s day where you would be labeled even a Pagan enemy or today, a heretic if you were to even slightly disagree with them.

This reminds me of a playlist I have been compiling of the critics and refutations of the Word of Faith, Charismatic, NAR and Pentecostal movements, which brings me to the second thing I’d like to do.

Regardless of what you think of us Pentecostals/Charismatics or the Word of Faith movement (some of whose beliefs I adhere to but not all), if you want to truly seek the truth and have an ear to hear, I want you to listen to this playlist. Don’t be a modern day Pharisee. Let’s together give Jesus a Birthday present in checking our hearts to see if the hypocritical Pharisee is in us.

Note: If you are a cessationist, you already adhere to a nonbiblical view. However, if you pray, God can help you to change your theology because He did for Jason Petersen. This is not me trying to be judgmental or critical of anyone but I have been awakened to a true understanding of the Scriptures. This is not an essential doctrine for Salvation but I preach on even the nonessentials (although I still unify and try not to attack people that adhere to people of other beliefs) because we need to understand the Bible’s true meaning in order to go deeper in our understanding of Jesus and have a doubt-free relationship with God (I mean doubt-free in the sense that we don’t doubt our salvation unless we are in habitual sin). God bless!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
