A Book Review: Jewish Insights Into Scripture

A Bar Mitzvah boy reads from the Torah at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem Israel

I want to discuss some parts of this ducument that I’m about to share with you, which will greatly help you.

1. Divorce And Remarriage

Catholic Author, Leila Miller has written some books which should help you with this subject and to prepare your children for the issues of today’s culture. This, I believe, will also help us understand a proper perspective on divorce and when it should occur.

2. Hate in the Bille:

There are instances in the Bible which this book recounts where God says that we should “hate” money or “hate” our father and mother to follow Him etc. I have heard that it means to disdain money. I have not heard this concerning hating our fathers and mothers. But as you will see in the file I’m going to introduce to you, this is not the case.

3. Doctrine or Right Living:

I want to address something right quick, which the book talks about. There are some among the Protestants that like to say things like, “The Catholics are evil,” or “They worship Mary and they aren’t saved.” Some Catholics probally speak bad about the Protestants. There are some other parts of Christianity that speak bad about other parts of Christianity. Some Churches say, “If we don’t do it the way we say, you are not born again.” We are fighting against each other. The Lord through Mark Taylor calls this Friendly Fire, which must cease now in the name of Jesus. This is my personal oppinion: One who refuses to give up friendly fire must thereby forefeit any rights to minister to God’s people. If you can’t at least try to follow the Spirit and be in a Christ-like spirit, then very little followers shouldn’t be delegated to such people you are slandering but to you because you are causing certain people in the Body of Christ to listen to only your narrow-minded beliefs about things and to not hear all that God has to say through His people. Perhaps, you are someone who speaks out frequently against Abby Johnson. I don’t care what you believe, you need to get into your prayer closet and see if what you are saying is true (and by the way, my Grandpa who is also a Pastor and I both agree that she’s genuinely a follower of Christ, so if you don’t believe that and are telling others such, you must repent immediately). You don’t have to personally follow Abby Johnson because everyone has different tastes. However, you cannot impose what you perceive to be true on another person because it could be slander. Folks, we must be more concerned about holy living.

An Appology To The Catholics

Some, if not all of you reading this might say, “What do you need to appologize for?” I don’t think I personally do, but I have heard that an Intercessor repents for others until they themselves can do so, so I’m here doing such.

I want to appologize for the way some of us in the Protestant movement have said that you are of the devil etc. and that you are going to hell. I know of at least 2 people in my life who are Catholics: one is my Chiropractor and friend and the other I talk about frequently on here. My Grandpa knows many more, and the ones we know are living holy lives. I’ve heard (I think I was listening to something about abortion but I can’t remember the job the people on the interview mentioned) that it was the Catholics who were the most faithful. Jesus said that we would know people not by their doctrines they believe or the way they pray (man has different beliefs about this but God looks on the heart), but on the fruit. So, I personally want on this blog to denounce every evil thing that is said about you because it is slanderous and must be called out and appologized for. God bless!

Love In Christ,

Final Thoughts

I am now going to share with you the file. Please pray concerning this and make sure you follow the Spirit’s leading and not just your intellect. Thank you all for reading this and God bless!

By Patelin Cogswell

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
