Death Threats From Professing Christians?

The following blog is a statement concerning some recent news I have read on my Christian Headlines email. It is about Jeremiah Johnson’s repentance concerning the reelection prophecies that he put out saying that Trump would win a second term. Now here is the article.

The Christian Response

Perhaps I was wrong as well but I know when the Holy Spirit bears witness with my spirit that something is truly of the Spirit. However, does this mean I am going to shout obscenities and say, “You are wrong.” Every prophet or prophetic person is different with how they respond to what is going on. I can’t say that other prophets know more than others, but I can say that from my experience, different people feel like they should do different things. Some people voice their doubts more outwardly than others; others don’t have any doubts at all and are only confident. We need to learn to respect our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

This episode of The Stand from The Victory Channel which ISN showed informs us of how the Lord prophesied that Exodus 14 was the chapter for us at this time–that we are waiting for a “Red Sea Moment.” The night that I wrote a certain blog (which I think I deleted as a draft), the Spirit bore witness in my heart that Shatter And Scatter by Mark Taylor and Full Circle by Mark Taylor. That night, in my own heart, I had a Spirit-birthed faith that was not shaken–not because some Prophetic voice said these things shall be, but because the Spirit Himself bore witness in my own heart.

I do agree with JereJohnson that we can be idolatrous with our support of President Trump. Like I said in another blog, I used to have a certain disposition about Liberals, but the Lord has shown me a better way. There are some fishy things that I’ve seen even recently like what you hear before Julie Wilkinson comes on that I fully disapprove of.

I am not your friend because I want to “convert you,” rather you be an unsaved person or a Liberal. I am your friend because I am your friend. I want to have a relationship with a lot more people than just those of my same beliefs. As you well know, I love to listen to and support Abby Johnson, but I am going to agree with people where it is due and disagree with people where it is due. We cannot be compassionate for the abortion-minded woman while she’s at the clinic and then turn around and let our kid call someone your other friends vote for “a baby-killer,” and loose your friendship or run the risk of your friend not letting their kids come back around. God calls us to tell the truth of His Word, but we need to make sure that if we know where someone stands on their stances, we are to not try and loose that friendship. I am bold but I still am on the lookout about if I’ve offended that person (again, I don’t just have friends that are only Conservatives. If no one disagrees, how will we ever learn).

A Warning

So upon the authority of the Scriptures, I denounce the idolatrous, cultish, and even down-right violence-inciting (and possibly violent depending on how far some go) activity in the Body of Christ; for the Word says, “If we claim that we share life with him, but keep walking in the realm of darkness, we’re fooling ourselves and not living the truth. But if we keep living in the pure light that surrounds him, we share unbroken fellowshowp with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, continually cleanses us from all sin.” (1 John 1:6-7, TPT).

Therefore, brothers and sisters in the Lord, I beg of you, put off the old man–the flesh, the desire to worship Trump (which so many of us say is not the case but our actions speak louder than our words), and look on the One who can and will change the nations of the world in His perfect timing; for the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof (Psalms 24:1). Even if you agree with what I’m saying, you still are in need of much soul searching as even I had to do for a time. We must make sure we are truly “walking in the light as He is in the light,” (1 John 1:7). God bless!
