Being Still Before God

The series of blogs I just got through doing on The Truth About Abortion And Human Life, as you saw, were about the book by Abby Johnson called Unplanned, the expanded edition. There were some times in this book that she discusses some nuggets from her mentors or some things she’d learned in life concerning the Lord.

One of the things was from a lady you will meet in the book called Elizabeth. She told Abby that God was working on her. She needed to sit still in the Lord’s presence and let Him finish working on her. Another time when she talked about her childish bargain she made with the Lord concerning her promotion as director of Planned Parenthood, she said essentially that if she were really looking for the Lord’s will, she wouldn’t be praying a childish prayer such as she prayed, which you will read more about in my blog and her book. These little nuggets helped me immensely to know what steps I needed to take, so I thought I’d share them with you today.
