Dear Pro-lifers,
I myself am a pro-lifer, but I want to address something; for I don’t know how often someone does this. I want to address the meaning of being pro-life.
I know that there are a few bad apples in every bunch. I myself would not support the killing of an abortionist just because I want abortion to end. However, I must address this. This cannot go unaddressed.

You read that right! An abortionist was serving as an usher. The service was just beginning. I cannot remember the town he was in but the shooter in question had just returned to town. George was gunned down. I can understand “persecution,” in the form of new laws outlawing abortion or peaceful protests outside the building or whatever we do. But violence? That shooter by no means had the hand of God by his side. He condemns abortion on one hand and then turns around and shoots who he thinks is his enemy on the other. Beloved, we cannot have two standards. If you have any hate in your heart toward abortionists, the Lord commands that today you repent and start praying for them. The Lord condemns abortion, but He also condemns hate. Jesus stated that if I hate my brother in my heart, I have already murdered him (Matthew 5).
Is This An Isolated Incident?
The answer to the heading’s question is an absolute NO? I will not go into the details here; for I will post the article below. You may scream at me for posting an article from the New York Times, but I personally believe that every outlet has some truth and some falsehood in reporting the news, except the Christian organizations try to be more truthful in their reporting. So without further adue, here it is.
Notice that there was a former minister. You can’t say that it is “just the nonbeliever.” Even if it was. I’m addressing the movement as a whole. We cannot abho abortion and then kill the abortionist because both are wrong. It is imperative that we not have two standards. God doesn’t. You may scream, “What about the Old Testament?” Well, that is not for us individually. It is for the judiciary system of a country. The death penalty is not for a personal action. Folks, here me: You could have been in New York at one of these clinics and shot Anthony Levatino when he was one of these abortionists. I don’t know of anyone going into an obstitrician Gynacologist’s office upon hear that they are also an them, but it could happen. You could have shot Abby Johnson back when she was the director of Planned Parenthood. I am not indicting the movement. I know that many of you, like me, don’t condone any violence whatsoever. However, I am speaking to those that have so much hate in their heart against these people, yet may admire the tenacity of Anthony Levatino and Abby Johnson for sharing their testimonies. We like to say, “Those babies that are being aborted could be the next Moses. Or the next Billy Grahm. Yet their mission was aborted before it began!” I understand the reasoning behind the killing of these abortionists because I myself don’t condone their behavior. However, you are like Moses was before when he fled Egypt after killing the Egyptian that was enslaving his brethren (look up Exodus 2). Maybe it isn’t that you have hate. Maybe you have a desire from the Lord to save His babies, but like Moses, your actions aren’t what the Lord would want. Your heart is aligned with God’s heart, but you don’t know how to act on it properly.
What Does It Mean To Be Pro-Life?
A lot of people when discussing this topic mention activism and things surrounding the anti-abortion argument. However, here is what I believe being pro-life means:
- I am pro-life when I support a baby’s right to life–when I condemn abortion through activism and other means.
- I am pro-life when I hear of murders being committed at the hands of other pro-lifers, taking the life of an abortionist who God could reach down and save in the future and who could become a pro-life activist like us and condemn the violence.
Where Does The Pro-life argument begin?
I believe that it begins in the mind. If you look at a woman seeking abortion like she’s evil for doing so, you will not have compassion for her or at least you won’t help her case–making her feel like she should not go through with the proceedure–if you talk to her like the following man does this woman:
Love may have been his motivation. Compassion may have been running through his veins. However, he does not show it. BY NO MEANS does he show it. I have some questions for you to answer before the Lord. This is mainly for the Believer.
- Which group or person won the adulteress over found in John: the Pharisees, or Jesus? Selah!
- What won Mary Magdalene over? The other Jews and the Pharisees? Or was it Jesus?
- Ask yourself the same question while you read the Gospels. Which one won the sinners over? Jesus? The Pharisees?

Final Thoughts
Everything I’ve stated in this blog must be considered by the pro-life movement. We need more compassion. Hear the words of a former Abortionist which I showed you before. He says that yelling, “Murderer,” won’t work. Abby Johnson says the same thing. That video you saw of the man telling the woman that she knows she’s guilty of sin got him no where in his ministry. Either you want to be effective or you don’t.
