Sermon Sunday: Racism

Welcome to Sermon Sunday. Today, it is going to be different. We will be discussing prayerfully. I want to start some discussions in homes. I pray that this will begin a journey for all of us pertaining to the truth about things such as Racism and Abortion. God bless!

What does the Bible say about racism? – Denison Forum

Mission: Pray. We must begin following the instructions that Dr. Jim Denson gives. When the Spirit shows us our racism, we must own it. We must not excuse the sin of our ancestors. We must have a day of prayer and deep repentance before our Lord. Also, we must start actively pursuing Racial Reconciliation. We cannot afford to let this go on anymore. It has gone on for WAY. TOO. LONG! It has to stop now!

The Scriptures say, “If My people which are called by My name shall humble themselves and pray and seek My face, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sins, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14). We have thought that we have covered all of the sins of America when we prayed. Perhaps, some have. However, I have heard some people excuse seemingly the mistreatment that the Europeans did when they came to the new world! Well, I don’t know about you, but I refuse to do this! I will take ownership and repent! I will also pray that my brothers and sisters in Christ who refuse to will do the same. God bless!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
