2. Episode 5
The start of the episode shows the worry of Jesus’ Mom, Mary. Can you relate? Also, the Scriptures talk about Jesus “learning obedience,” not that He was disobedient; for He was sinless. Notice His interactions with Mary and Joseph and how He obeys. Kids, follow this example, okay? Also, take into consideration the video I showed you of the Catholic Priest’s thoughts on Mary, Jesus’ Mom. What is your reaction of the conversation between Eden and Simon? How has the Lord touched you? Also, pay attention to the wedding seene altogether. We know about the miracle from Scripture, but we can only imagine what this wedding might have been like. You will be going to the Wedding Lamb in Heaven, and since the Bible is from Jews, perhaps this will be the way our wedding to the Lord will be. Notice what Jesus calls His disciples. They call Him Master, but He considers them to be “frs,” and talks of them each being family. When I mentioned paying attention to the wedding, I forgot about the many passages where Jesus alludes to a banquet. Also, ponder on these. How do you like actually having a TV show about our Lord that tries to be historically accurate? Notice how the people are in desperate straits before Christ steps in. People who try to ask the Lord to step in when there are things to do still for them and their medical professionals must ponder on this and on the Scriptures that portray the same. Can you see the humanity of the characters in the Scriptures? Notice Jesus’ demeanor towards Thomas’ doubt. Does He rebuke him? Why do so many faith-leaders rebuke their brothers and sisters in Christ if doesn’t rebuke doubt? Notice the humanity of Jesus in His response. Again, this is not inerrant like the Scriptures, but gives us posibilities. Notice the humor in this. one serious around here? You need to prayerfully lighten up. What do you think about Jesus dancing? What do you think about Jesus’ jokes (pertaining to His divinity)? I’m not saying that He actually joked like this, but perhaps. So, please ask the Spirit to mold or change your theology or dispositions if offended. Now, after this long commentary and questions, let’s watch:
