They who hear my story are never the same.
It’s the truth about a Savior.
Jesus is His name.
He walked the earth
As a Man for 33 years
And His reward was to die
For us
And our sins.
We know and believe now
He was much more than a Man.
He was the Son of God,
Sent by God
To teach love
And offer His hand.
He promised
To love us forever
And just as we are.
People would seek His love
And come from near and far,
But the souls for many
Just as now were lost.
They chose not His love.
Instead, they spat on Him
And nailed him to a Cross.
He lay on that Cross
And died for me
And died for you
And still He loved us.
He said, “Father, forgive them;
For they know not what they do.”
His dead body placed in a cave,
The door blocked
And many cried showing affection,
But He was the Son of God
And after three days
Proved it to the world
Through ressurrection.
Man knew then He is the way,
The truth and the life
And after two thousand years,
We as Christians still have to fight.
Our lives are troubled
With sin and doubt.
We must tell the world of this Man,
Not quietly.
Instead, we must shout,
“He is the Son of God
And you must hear.
Accept His love; live in peace and not fear.”
Thank you Lord.
