The Unity Of The Spirit

I have even been thinking the same thing, but in a different way, about unity. This article pronounces the same thing as the Lord showed Mark Taylor here and here. Beloved, we need to stop attacking one another.

If you even disagree with someone on abortion even, if you get offended, take it to the Lord in prayer before doing such things as unfriending the person, ceasing contact with them, removing them from a Facebook group you started, or anything else. Make sure you are an effective witness to the person, which therefore prohibits you from including the Holy Spirit in your endeavors. You must pray before you act. I myself am guilty of not doing this, so I’m preaching to myself as well.

I saw a video a while back which when trying to find it I couldn’t, inviting us to go to the state capitol for Abolition Day on February 9th. However, I found an even better video, which details the pro-life bills presented in 2020 and how egregious and compromising they really are. But then last night, I found this article from Life Action, which shows that actually (at least in mental ascent), we believe the same as the Abolitionist movement. What we need is to come together in unity. The Abolitionists need to learn some things from us pro-lifers, but then also, us pro-lifers need to learn some things from the Abolitionists, like what it means to cease from compromising and truly show the world our stance on abortion. There are some things we may disagree with each other about, but we must come together in the unity of the Spirit and stop fighting against each other. It isn’t anti-abortion versus pro-abortion or Pro-Life Versus Abolitionism. It is Pro-death versus Pro-Love. Love never kills, right? We can at least agree on that. True love never cowers away under pressure, right? Selah!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
