New Age Deception, Part 17

Welcome again to New Age Deception. I’d like to discuss today looking in the mirror at midnight.

1. Introduction: What is the superstition of looking into a mirror at night all about?

httpcc//ajoyfulchaos.blogspot.com/2009/11/mirrors-at-midnight.html’

I’m just going to assume that this superstition which this person talks about in the link above is what is being discussed in the Checklist I told you about. Now, onto the next section.

2. Should Christians look into a mirror at midnight or believe this superstition?

Again, there is no video which can help. So first, I want to remind you again of the study you did the week before last. If you can’t remember, go back and study Exodus, Deuteronomy and Joshua. Secondly, I’d like to give you a Scripture as to why I think we should not give into these superstitions in the first place. This is a very familiar Scripture. I am writing this on September 2, 2020. As of September 2, I have been posting on here some articles from Joyce Meyer from a Bible study I was doing called, Do It Afraid. As you saw, with us about doing things even in spite of the fears we have. However, this had to do with small things such as, if you are afraid to have a child because you think you might not like them or you will fail as a parent, do it afraid–things like that. With superstitions, though, we must take these Scriptures to heart:

A. ?But the man who has doubts (misgivings, an uneasy conscience) about eating, and then eats [perhaps because of you], stands condemned [before God], because he is not true to his convictions and he does not act from faith. For whatever does not originate and proceed from faith is sin [whatever is done without a conviction of its approval by God is sinful].”

Romans 14:23 AMPC

Notice the amplification in the last part of this Scripture. Selah!

B. “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”

2 Timothy 1:7 AMPC

If God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, and superstitions cause us to be afraid, rather they be the one we focus on today or others, then is this really from God? Selah!

3. Salvation: Again, is there anyone today that has not yet received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior or is feeling like you need to rededicate your life to the Lord? Today is the day. Here are some links to get started.

Again, if you are in the OKC area and would like to attend a Church in person that is Bible-based and teaches sound doctrine, at 12:30 P.M. in the north building of 2101 NW 16, we hold services. The church I attend (which, I am not going right now due to me being at risk with COVID-19), is Preach Unto Them Jesus. However, at the same facility, at 10:15 A.M., The Parish holds their Church Services online and in person. For more information about their what they do, go to http://www.theparishokc.com and browse their site. Also, please comment your feedback and tell me how the Lord has used these blogs to help you live a victorious life. God bless!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
