Magnify The Good In Life

Welcome! I hope this blog that you are about to read blesses you richly and helps you to make the right choices in life. The article that I will be posting below is a political one, but I wanted to take the time to explain some things that will take you much more farther than just the political arena. First, I will give you some of my thoughts on this topic. Then, we will hear a teaching about it and lastly, I will post the article. Let’s get started.

What Happens When I Am Negative Nancy all the time?

Perhaps, you hear someone always pointing out the bad in people. Or perhaps in the pulpit when talking about politics, all they want to highlight is only the bad in your country, rather that be America, Iran, Israel, Egypt, Turkey, etc. I like what The Chosen portrays Jesus as saying: “Your leaders are smart. Sometimes, though, smart men lack wisdom.” Is this ever true? I want to take a look at a video which describes what happens when we only magnify the bad and we don’t give ourselves hope. Perhaps, we are only magnifying the bad in people. Now, listen: I am not trying to condemn anyone here who does this. Maybe this behavior was modeled by your leaders and maybe it was modeled for them by someone else. I don’t know the situation, but I want you to live a victorious life all the way around. This is my goal.

I want to start today with a familiar passage of Scripture. I want you to really meditate on this Scripture and ask the Holy Spirit, “How can I apply this in every area of my life?” Here it is.

So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God, praising him always (Philippians 4:8, TPT).

Now please listen carefully to this sermon from Joyce Meyer called Focus On The Positive Things In Life. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you to apply what she’s saying in every area of your life, irrespective of what it may be.

The Science Behind Being Positive

Conclusion of Teaching

Thank you so much for reading this blog. This is just the conclusion of the teaching. Now that we have discovered the Biblical and Scientific basis for thinking positive in all of life, I am going to post the article that I was reading this morning that lead me to write this blog. Also, feel free to comment below your feedback as to how the Lord has used this blog to bless you in your life and help you to walk victoriously in life and make the right decisions.

Is there anyone reading this that has not received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior or needs to rededicate their lives back to Him? Well, today’s the day. I will be posting a link which will help you to do just that. When you make this decision, please let them know that you have come to the family of God or have rededicated your life to Christ. They will send you some follow-up material that will help you in your walk with Christ. God bless!

Steps To Peace

By Patelin Cogswell

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
