Welcome to today’s blog. I have some exciting news. Yesterday after praying for Abby Johnson and some things that I felt the Lord showing me, I was so ecstatic and in a time of dancing before the Lord. After I danced to some other songs, I was just going to dance like normal to the song called Unplanned by Matthew West, but the Lord took things over. I think He’s given me a dance that I can teach others so that whenever you want to perform a dance to show the world your beliefs or just want to have fun, you will have a dance you can use. Here it is:
When the song starts playing, you squat as low as you can to portray the stature of a baby. As the song progresses into the chorus, you slowly “grow,” for lack of better words, into the stature of the mother. Once the chorus is playing, you raise your arms higher and higher, signifying the Mother finding her voice. If you are a male, you are signifying a father. On the chorus, every time Matthew West sings the word “unplanned,” jump with ALL your might. Then, you do it all over again until the song ends. Here are some definitions:
- The squating: This represents the baby whose life is in danger.
- The slow return to original stance: This presents the “growth” into motherhood or fatherhood depending on the gender of the person dancing.
- The raising of the arms at chorus: The message of this so either, “I have had an abortion in times past, have been forgiven by God and will now choose to fight for life,” or “I know how evil abortion proceedures are and am willing to fight for these babies,” but the point is that the person is speaking up for life, even if they don’t have kids themselves or won’t be in any big way benefited in this fight (which to me, knowing that more lives are saved from abortions is good enough).
- Jumping: This is a figurative message saying, “Satan, you WILL NOT have this next generation. Oh, and by the way, there’s no such thing as unplanned.”
For those of you that can’t squat to form the stature of the baby, if you are a mom, it could be that you pick up and dance with your baby, and then as the “growth precess” of the dance happens, you would sit your baby down on the couch (preferably 36 seconds into the song when you first start the dance). If you can’t jump because of some injury, the point is to send the enemy that message: He’s not going to take another generation of babies without a fight and there is no such thing as unplanned. Using the definitions above, if there is any point in this dance that I’ve mentioned that for whatever reason you cannot accomplish, then use your creativity and make this dance your own. When I squated each time, I’d sway and take baby steps from side to side, but I just want you to have fun with this dance because this is just an idea that the Lord gave me for us to show our pro-life message while having fun doing it. You can play the song here. God bless and enjoy!
