Welcome to this week’s Prayerful Thursday. We also have a Prayerful Thursday this week where we will be praying for Abby Johnson and her ministry. Please be praying for both of these this week–both of which are just as important.
The following article from Live Action describes a situation where a man in Brazil had lied to his girlfriend. He had bought some abortion pills on the internet and inserted them into her vaginally, saying that they were “a female version of viagra.” He is facing prison time. To read the article, click here. Remember the clip from Unplanned where they show Abby Johnson’s abortion pill procedure? I thought of this as I had read the article above and couldn’t help but be compassionate for the woman (the article states that she woke up the next morning experiencing cramps and bleeding, but one can only imagine. It isn’t that all of these are as bad as Abby Johnson’s but as this article shows, women have died from this proceedure).
Let’s pray for this woman and her family, justice to be given, and lastly, that God’s will ultimately will be done (the most important prayer point of all). God bless!
