Sentencing For The Abortionist

In this blog, I want to explain my thoughts on how an abortionist should be sentenced according to the law. Perhaps I’m wrong on my assertions and maybe a little too soft on them, but I’ll get to that in my conclusion. Right now, I want to address some things.

The Bible’s Sentence For The Murder

As I have established previously, abortion is murder. This is why I write the above heading, not out of a lack of compa$ν like I have said previously, but in defense of the word of God.

In Genesis 9:6, NKJV, it says, “Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man’s brother I will require the life of man. Whoever shed’s man’s blood,

By man his blood shall be shed;

For in the image of God

He made man.”

In Exodus 21:12, NKJV, it says, “He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death.” In Leviticus 24:17, NKJV, it says, “Whoever kills ANY man shall surely be put to death.” (Emphasis added, which will be important in the future of this blog).

In Numbers 35:30-33, NKJV, it says, “Whoever kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses, but one witness is not sufficient testimony against a person for the death penalty. Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death. And you shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may return to dwell in the land before the death out the priest. So you shall not pollute the land where you are; for blood defiles the land, and no attonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed on it, except by the blood of him who shed it.” In Romans 13, NKJV, it says, “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor. Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, ×Y shall not commit adultery,∘ ×Y shall not murder,∘ ×Y shall not steal,∘ ×Y shall not bear false witness,∘ ×Y shall not covet,∘ and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, ×Y shall love your neighbor as yourself.∘ Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.”

In Matthew 26:52, NKJV, it says, “But Jesus said to him, ×Put your sword in its place, for all who take the sword will perish by the sword.” As you see, I am just letting Scripture in this section speak for itself. There is a Scripture that I will get into later, but not now.

My Thoughts On The Subject

I now want to explain my position on this subject. Some may get offended by this, but I only ask that you prayerfully consider this blog as a whole.

Up front, if I’m wrong about my assertions on this blog, I would ask that everyone pray for the abortionists in their state to come to the Lord and that those seeking the abortions would know the truth concerning what they are doing. Let’s even do this if I’m right so that if a law be passed in our state that calls for their execution, there may be very limited abortionists to be executed because they have all repented and ceased from their sinful practice. Again, I’m not saying this out of a lack of compassion; for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God in some way (Romans 3:23). However, I want the Law of the Lord to be esteemed as the highest law in the land. If you are in another nation, this applies for you too. Pray for the abortionists in your nation or city or whatever the Lord leads.

In Ezekiel 18:32, NKJV, it says, ×For I have no pleasure in the death of one who dies,∘ says the LORD God. ×Thefore turn and live.∘ Also in 2 Peter 3:9, NKJV, it says, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that ALL should come to repentance.” (Emphasis Added).

Like I said earlier, the word should be our primary source by which we order our lives–not our experiences, out oppinions, what our Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa said (with all due respect), or anything else–not even the politicians that people trust. Therefore, this is why I’ve written extensively using only the Word and articles which discuss this biblically.

One thing that Prison Fellowship left out is that Jesus even said that those that take up the sword shall die by it (Matthew 26:52). This was in the New Testament. This is why I endorse the death penalty. However, I don’t endorse it in a bloodthirsty sense. I don’t think that all murderers should die. Rather, I think that the state as representatives of God (Romans 13) should impose it when God would and restrain from such force when He does. I think that if we put all abortionists to death (like I thought the Scriptures said in the Old Testament which is why I emphasized the word any in the above verse I said would be important at this time). I am an Evangilist at heart, not in title though. I don’t want anyone to go to that horrible place called hell, which is where I will type the last verse.

As I said before in the sermon series I just got through typing on here, Revelation 21:8, NKJV says, “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

This is one reason why I do not agree with such laws as the one in Texas, or the one in Ohio, which support the death penalty for both women and the abortionist. I do agree with the “life in prison,” proposal, but even that needs some prayer and fasting as the Lord calls. If the law-maker is not a Christian, this person is mandated to do their due diligance and not just make laws based on their oppinions or their citizens’ petitions. If someone petitions for such laws that strictly mandate the death penalty for the women and the abortionist, they are to judge righteously through research and much thinking things over. However, I understand that the world is very different from us and will do things the way they want.

As I established earlier in my Open Letter To The Pro-Life Movement, that abortionist we are killing rather that be by the state or by the individual could be the next pro-life activist and we are not giving them a chance to repent and turn.

If you are a law-maker reading this, I encourage you to take this to the Lord in prayer. Even if you aren’t, pray about it. This will help you to make petitions to your government and help them to better make laws that are of the heart of God, even though some of them are not believers.

Salvation

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? Perhaps, you are an abortionist and through my blogs you understand that what you are doing is a sin. Perhaps you are a woman who has had an abortion and used to be unashamed of what you’d done. Perhaps, you once gave your life to Christ but need to rededicate your life to Him and one of the above or more describes you in some way. Whatever the case may be, the Lord is ready for you to come to the virtual altar. Also, if you feel more comfortable praying with someone and not just reading what I write, call (1) 800-700-7000. That’s the prayer line for CBN. However, you can pray something like this if you feel comfortable praying without the help of another:

God, I know that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I understand the plan of salvation laid out for me. I understand and believe that You raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Jesus, come and enfold me in You (2 Corinthians 5:17, TPT). I’m ready to lay my life down for You and You alone. Come and baptize me with the Holy Spirit and fire (Matthew 3:11). Fill my heart to overflowing with Your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Welcome to the family if you sincerely prayed that prayer. However, as is established here, this prayer is not a formula. God bless!

Updated January 27, 2021: As of late, my oppinions concerning the death penalty have changed to some extent. I still have compassion for those that want to come out of the abortion industry . . . in fact, as much as I had when I originally wrote this blog. However, on one Sunday afternoon, I read this testimony of a lady who quit the late-term abortion industry and when raided by the FBI confessed to everything and got a lesser sentence than that of her boss. Between that and reading recent posts on Facebook from a friend of mine (who I met through Grandpa), I have changed my position and do believe that just as God forgives a lost sinner who deserves the spiritual death penalty, so does the earthly court systems. However, the judge or jury will be the onespiritness to decide who will get it and who won’t (pluss the Lord), and I will do my due diligence and vote the way the Lord would have me vote. God bless!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
