The Celebration Of Two Reformations

Welcome, and happy Reformation Day. You read the title right, but you will see what I mean as we journey together. Let’s begin with the original reformation together. Let’s look at the ins and outs of how Martin Luther’s nailing ofthe 95 theses came about. I’m sure you learned this in school, but we all need a refresher, right?

The History Of Martin Luther’s Reformation

This documentary gives us a general understanding of the revolution that happened in the 1500s with Martin Luther. However, I read somewhere that in his latter days, Luther no longer had a distaste for the Jews, which is one part that this documentary leaves out.

The next resource concerns itself with the persecution of Luther, and will come into play later in this blog. Please keep it before you as you read the rest of this blog.

Joseph Prince And The Modern-day Reformation Or As He Calls It, “Grace Revolution”

The following video shows a meeting that happened back in 1992 on this day. The man prophesying is Paul Cain. The man being prophessied to, of course, is Pastor Joseph Prince of New Creation Church. Here it is:

Persecution

I want you to think back to the documentary and the excommunication letter about Martin Luther. I will now be posting some links to, “Joseph Prince Exposed,” videos. I want to ask you this question: Do you see any parallels between what people said about Martin Luther and what they say about Pastor Prince today?

Do you see any parallels between the letter and these videos I shared with you?

  • The excommunication letter and the videos both appear to show compassion toward those reading/listening to their message.
  • Both say that the person they are exposing is sending people to hell and being held accountable for their errors before Christ.

Final Thoughts

I would tell you to touch not God’s anointed, but here’s why this will not be the case!

May the Lord bless you as you read this blog and celebrate today and forevermore the two grace revolutions that took place. Also, for a laugh, I want to leave you with one more video (it is about speaking in tongues, but the way he says some of the things he says makes me laugh every single time).

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
