The blog I will post below touched my heart deeply. I don’t drive, and as you know I’m legally blind, so forth doesn’t personally impact me as much as it does you. So, to you who drive and get the opportunity to give to the homeless maybe even every day, I encourage you to take what I’m about to say and the article I’ll post at the end deeply into your spirit.
Introduction
The blog discusses God’s heart for the homeless. It touched me deeply because it made me realize that all these “legalistic teachers,” are right. This article is from The Mystical Appologetic, and it in a very much more graceful way reminds me of Keith Green’s Sheep and Goats song that he sang when he was alive. Don’t get me wrong. Like I hinted at in the way I worded the sentence above, the blog is by no means hard teaching–at least, not like Keith Green presented it. I call it, “Hard teaching in a soft tone.” That’s the Spirit for you. Here’s the song I’m referring to.
The Blog and Final Thoughts
This is the first time I have had a blog such as this remind me of a hard finger-nail-file type sermon or song. Maybe their roughness isn’t the way Jesus would act toward us in judgment day, but perhaps, the thought they are presenting to us isn’t all that wrong. Let’s prayerfully consider not only the blog which I will present to you below, but also the song which I presented above from Keith Green. God bless!
