Welcome to Warning Against Others. This is kinda a continuation of last week’s lesson. I encourage you to begin by getting your Bibles out and sit with the Holy Spirit. Read Luke 20:1-44. Pray this through. This is part 1 of today’s lesson.

“Within earshot of all the people, Jesus warned his disciples, “Don’t follow the example of these pretentious experts of the law! They love to parade around in their clergy robes so that they are honored wherever they go, sitting right up front in every meeting and pushing for the head table at every banquet. And for appearances’ sake they will pray long religious prayers at the homes of widows for an offering, cheating them out of their very livelihood. Beware of them all, for they will one day be stripped of honor, and the judgment they receive will be severe.””
