Today, I would like to give you a little history lesson. There were even some things within this article that I don’t think I even heard at school. However, due to the news of every statue ever erected pertaining to the Confederacy being torn down either by rioting or by order of government in Virginia, I would like to post an article from http://www.history.com which describes what I feel is the true history of the Confederacy. You judge for yourselves, disregarding the past teachings or beliefs you may have had, if God is pleased with the decision to tear down the statues of the Confederacy. Personally, I believe that we should keep monuments up even for the bad moments; for if we don’t remember history, we are destined to repeat it, and you don’t want that, do you? However, even though I’ve stated my oppinion on the matter, judge for yourselves. Disregard even in your mind my oppinion and form your own. Let me know also what you think in the comments below. I don’t just want you to read this, but to read it prayerfully. Ask the Spirit ultimately, Who authored the very Word of God we follow, what He wants. Ask Him for the truth, irrespective of our biased oppinions. God bless and here’s the article!
