I want to make some comments on a video that I’ve posted when talking about one of the topics on Astrology. It was the Real Truth Real Quick! podcast. The person discusses a time when a lady comes to their table and gives them a word of knowledge. She said that she had a relationship with the Holy Spirit and stated what He told her to say. Then, the man points out that he and his family (or whoever he was with) also had a relationship with the Spirit. Then he judgmentally goes on to point out the vague generalizations in the word of knowledge that the Spirit could have very well given this lady and asks her what church she attends. He uses this as an object lesson saying that we should not depend on these types of words. He says that the person giving the prophecy plays on the person’s emotions and that people then get addicted to these types of prophecies, wanting more and more.
Well, my frs, this is not always the case. Essentially, what we must remember is that prophecy in whatever form it comes in is NOT inerrant like the Word of God. It is based on the Word of God; for the Spirit of God does not in any way contradict His Word. But, we cannot live off of these words. We also must remember that not all prophets or prophetic voices have bad motives. The religious spirit like to give you that nasty ole meddal taste which is not necessary. Of course, I’m using metaphors so you can better relate. Whoever it is that prophessied to this man, if you happen to either now or in the future read this blog, I appologize for that scrudge-like stance he took toward the word that the Spirit gave you. Maybe you used that to grow mightily more in the Lord and didn’t let that discourage you, which is very good when that can be done. If not, it’s time to pick up your prophetic mantle the Lord has gifted you with and not let that discourage you. The man is proud en to think he knows all. He doesn’t. In fact, none of us do. May God continually bless your ministry and help you to flow in the prophetic. God bless!
Now, back to the topic. I’d like to share with you in closing a few words of knowledge so that it will grow your faith in the prophetic. God bless!
The following video’s prophecy sounds sorta generalized, like it could apply to anyone; for John 13:35 says that we will be known by the world for the way we love each other. However, the Holy Spirit sometimes gives generalized words because we need reminding. He loves us so much that He’s willing to remind us even of the things that we should know or maybe we do know, but then it clicks. Here it is:
Now, here’s our last Word of Knowledge. This has to do with Tim and February 4th.
God bless!
