Hello! I’d like to have a word with you for a moment. It’s about our brothers and sisters in Christ. In Nigeria, there are a lot of Christians being killed. The article that I will post after my little exortation will explain more. However, let’s bring one reason home as to why we should begin now more than ever to pray for and with our brothers and sisters overseas.
I have heard that if we tollerate something overseas, it will -every to our doorstep (something like that). I’d like to draw your attention first to some persecution being done here in the U.S. We have allowed this to go unchecked for too long, so now I want to wake up and mobilize us to prayerfully push back the darkness before what you will see in Nigeria becomes America’s plight. Here’s the article about America’s persecution:

Now for Nigeria’s Persecution:

Now, let’s bow down and pray:
O Gracious Father, You have protected and watched over Your people throughout history. You walked with the people of Israel in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. Lord, now, we have something better. The glory cloud lives inside of us! We do ask, O Lord, not because we ourselves deserve it, but because Christ, the head of the Church, deserves it, that You would do it again! Protect and uphold Your people. Watch over the Catholic churches in these United States and over the people in Nigeria. Give the government in America special wisdom to send an envoy and do whatever needs to be done to stop the persecution overseas and even here at home. Lord, give us a passion and zeal to weep with the persecuted Christians and to pray for them. Lord, give us a divine compassion beyond words so that we can and will stop this before what’s there becomes our story. In Jesus’ name and by the power and the authority of His Name, by the third day resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, by faith in the Word of God, and by the blood of the Lamb, amen!
