Folks, today’s blog is about the theme that I see pertaining to our Lord’s heart. He has been speaking about surrender. As you know, I reblogged a post earlier called, “Am I really surrendered?” For those that didn’t see this blog, here it is again:

Now, for the current article that I just got through reading, I would like to share with you a Scripture. Some of the words that the Lord spoke in this writing reminded me of Matthew 7:13–14. You can read this in other translations, but I’ll be reading from The Passion Translation:
“Come to God through the narrow gate, because the wide gate and broad path is the way that leads to destruction–nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life–so few even find it!”
At the time of my writing this article, the Lord also reminded me of another Scripture. I think I see what Jesus means here; for He always stated that He acts like a little baby would when he/she is first born. He’s totally dependant on His Heavenly Father, not doing anything without His approval, saying anything without His approval, or even going places without His approval. He doesn’t even speak on His own authority. He’s totally and completely surrendered. He’s saying, “This is the life I’ve called you to.” It’s not a sinless life; for there is not one righteous and we will never become perfect totally on this side of Heaven, but it is a surrendered life. Here’s the Scripture:
“Not everyone who says to me, ×Lord, Lord,∘ will enter into the realm of heaven’s kingdom. It is only those who persist on doing the will of my heavenly Father. On the day of judgment many will say to me, ×Lord, Lord, don’t you remember us? Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we cast out demons and do many miracles for the sake of your name?∘ But I will have to say to them, ×G away from me, you lawless rebels! I’ve never been joined to you!∘ (Matthew 7:21–23, TPT).
Now finally, here’s the article that I’d like to share that all of this lead up to:
