A New Playlist

I want to welcome you to this blog. As you know, I try to be as vulnerable with you all and as transparent as I can because I consider you like family. I have went on yet another endeavor and I found an app that you can get Spotify here for Android users and here for Apple iOS users. I don’t know if necessarily you have to get a premium plan to be able to use Spotify ad-free, but for now, I’ve been able to use it without any ads and have greatly enjoyed it (of course I’m talking about the music part of the app). Also, you will be able to access podcasts on this app and if you create podcasts, they will be able to be put on there (unless you choose which plattforms to put your podcast on there, but if you use Anchor which you can also get with Apple and Android devices, it will autimatically put your podcast wherever they can be found). Here is a video from Howfinity, showing how to use Spotify on your Computer and mobile devices.

Now, for the reason why I showed you all of this. I created some playlists which I will share below. If you’d like, you can add to them.

  1. The first playlist I created is called Praise And Worship. In adding to this playlist, the only rule is that the Spirit has to approve of the song. There are songs today called Praise And Worship songs that are me-centered like God Gave Me You that are unacceptable to add to this playlist.
  2. The next one I created was Torturing The Devil, and you may wonder why I called it such. Well, as you see in the song I added in the playlist, it is songs that either talk about things that will make him run or it could be like Keith Green wrote a “Dear John Letter,” to the Devil or songs like The Breakup Song like you hear on KLove and/or Air1. So, these types of songs are the only ones allowed in this playlist.
  3. The next playlist only allows for songs with Christian content (not meant for worship and praise), but as the title says, they in nature have political material. This is called Songs With Political Material.
  4. Our next playlist is called Christmas Songs, and the reason why I added the song by Tim McGraw was because in nature, it reminded me of the song Mary Did You Know. Any song that celebrates the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, can be added on here.
  5. Now lastly, this playlist will only consist of songs about Heaven, our home.

If you would like, you can create an account on Spotify either on mobile or computer and add songs to these playlists. Thank you for taking the time to read this blog. God bless!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
