A Talk About Special Needs Children, Clergy, Gossip And More

The following blog shows a podcast whose guest is Kris Detrow, an author and intake manager at And Then There Were None. Also, they talk about her book, The Intrusion, which I could only find on Amazon.

Kris talks about her autistic son, Stephen, and the struggles she has and tips for parents going through similar struggles. She also talks about when Stephen went in-patient and how Clergy could help with special needs parents.

After the break, Abby and Kris talk about crime and things like Dateline and a conference they go to every year and they talk about this past year’s conference. There is a ducumentary that they talk about (I just found out it is on Netflix), called Abducted In Plain Sight, and the lady it is based on, Jan Broberg, was at this conference. Here is the different, insightful, and fun podcast for your consumption. If you have any questions, comments, etc., comment below. God bless!

My name is Patelin Cogswell. I was born on September 24, 1998. I was born in Oklahoma City. I went to Oklahoma School for the Blind and graduated in 2017. I am called as a Minister of the Gospel and an Intercessor. However, this is not about me. My life is dedicated to making Christ alone. This blog was called kingdomadvance.family.blog because I didn’t want my name on the blog like others do because I feel like it is not me living but Christ living through me.
